Vice President, Operations

Mike Krings is vice president of operations for Sustainble Waste Systems, overseeing the company’s manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, global service, operations engineering, quality, and project management teams. He has more than 25 years of Lean operations experience leading teams and sites across the globe. Before joining AMP, Krings spent 11 years at Vestas, the world’s largest original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of wind turbine generators. He most recently led North America manufacturing operations. Previously, he held global supply chain, operations, and production roles for Advanced Energy, a OEM providing precision power supplies for the semiconductor industry as well as solar inverters to the renewable energy industry. Krings holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology management from Colorado State University and a professional certificate in supply chain management and logistics from Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business.
